Spiritual Development Class Sue Bracey – Class 3

This workshop is an interactive experience using art (watercolor, sketching, writing and poetry) loosely based on The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and The Courage to Create by Rollins May.    We start with an art experience to introduce ourselves – a brush stroke, a word, a doodle. We explore the spiritual principles relating to the exercise by referring to nature; “making our own happiness or unhappiness”; and meditation. We explore parallels between the art process and spirit manifestation emphasizing the elements of creativity, intuition or ‘from the void’. This is done with participant interaction. Lastly, we form a circle, get quiet/still followed by a group exercise to share insights we receive via the meditation and class experience.

Benefits from the class are as follows:

Class #1:Each person will learn to listen for and recognize messages from Spirit out of the “void” and from the community of attendees.

Class #2:    Each person will discover their psychic vibrations using the written words and automatic/psychic writing, without the constant criticism and tweaking of the conscious mind.

Class #3:  Each person will have the opportunity to celebrate their individual Spiritual gifts by combining lessons learned in the first and second lessons.

In summary:We learn to listen/observe, discover/create and celebrate/rejoice with laughter and connectedness.

While each lesson is self contained, there is added value in participating in all three.
